Nebraska Writers Workshop Primary Objective: To provide Omaha area writers of all genre and form the opportunity to come together for mutual support, artistic growth, and non-credit learning at NO CHARGE. Secondary Objective: To teach writers of any genre or form how to objectively assess the art and craft of their own work, thus growing in confidence and GETTING PUBLISHED. Membership Professional and amateur writers seeking skill-knowledge and support of fellow artists. Age 14 and over No fees or copying expense required (Optional: $1/per meeting donation to Baright Library) Commitment to actively write Commitment to actively participate in critique of peer work Willingness to accept and evaluate critique of own work Program Year-round, weekly meetings, Wednesdays, 6-9:00pm at the Baright Public Library directly east of Ralston City Hall Meeting Format Discussion/Lesson on technical/artistic topic Member readings & group critique Hints/Sharing on the Writing Life/Professionalism Schedule of Topics available at meetings Weather cancellations to coincide with Ralston Public Schools Group Facilitator: Sally Walker, (phone)
